We bit the bullet this weekend, and moved Quinn's crib into her own room. It's nice that our renos finally progressed to the point of her having a usable bedroom. Admittedly though, we delayed the big move because we'll miss her little sighs close at hand. But when we started to wake her up instead of the other way around, we knew she'd sleep better on her own.
Quinn's handled the move like a pro, falling asleep and staying asleep for most of the night plus daytime naps. She's in bed around 6pm, only fully wakes for a feed at 4-5am, then back to sleep for a couple more hours. We're so proud of her.
