Tracking Firsts

October 2: Quinn sits upright unassisted for the first time. We were showing Tina & Matthew how she was so close to doing it on her own, when she decided to just go for it.

October 3: Quinn starts eating solids. (Though how runny rice cereal can be considered "solids" is beyond me). She's up to a 1tbsp a day so far, and while not showing delight in spoon-fed food yet, she's certainly figuring out the concept nicely.

October 4: Quinn deliberately rolls over from her stomach to her back. It's only happened the one time so far (that we know of) but big smiles and much praise followed accordingly.

October 5: Quinn finally utters a recognizable string of baby babble. She's been vocalizing for months, but usually only one sound at a time, or incoherent mumbling while gumming a toy in her mouth. This time she was chattering away to herself in the crib in clear distinct multi-syllables.
